We all know that solar power is a great sustainable energy source laptop battery but can it be harnessed to run your computer system?

A number of computer producers are working hard these days to promote laptop battery and use sustainable and renewable energy sources. Solar power is just one of a range of option thought it is currently the most popular because the technology is available and it does make a practical solution to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

Solar Energy
Solar energy comes from TravelMate 240 laptop battery both light and radiant heat from the sun. Solar power refers to electricity that is generated from solar radiation at a particular point in time. Current solar energy technologies can provide electrical power by using heat engines or photovoltaic cells.

Lenovo and Hewlett-Packard are both starting to promote solar powered computing options, though this doesn’t mean that the computers themselves are solar. Lenovo has joined the trend with Advanced Energy Group's Solar-PowerPAC II. It comprises a complete package containing the AC/DC base unit with internal 60 amp-hour sealed battery and detachable pull-handle. The solar electric BTP-52EW laptop battery panel has a high-tempered safety glass covering, rigid aluminum frame and integrated, advanced solar controller with 15 foot solar power cord. The unit is virtually silent and quite flexible. The 120 VAC/60 Hz and 12 VDC power supply can be operated with or without the solar panel depending on the application, the devices requiring power, and the laptop battery run times desired. In most cases, the solar panel extends run time significantly by supplying power from the sun as power is being removed from the base unit.

"It's really a little subjective in terms of BTP-63D1 laptop battery what will be the benefit. But the device can power the PC and do it on a rather sustainable basis," said Carl McClellan, owner of Advanced Energy

Hewlett-Packard started reselling the same device for point-of-sale (POS) computers earlier this year.

Solartron Technologies have also developed a solar powered computing solution. Solar Home is a laptop battery packages designed specifically to power a full-size computer BTP-42C1 laptop battery system. The package includes:

· 3 Mitsubishi industrial grade 120 Watt crystalline solar modules with a 25 year warranty

· A Xantrex 35 amp charge controller with all metal housing

· A Xantrex Prosine 2.0 2000 watt pure sine wave BTP-44A3 laptop battery inverter/charger

If you're looking for an amazing high-end camcorder, then the Canon Vixia HFS10 laptop battery is probably the way to go. The footage and features are wonderful. Read more about the Canon Vixia HFS10 now!

Lens and Pixel Count
Canon has been exciting the market lately with one of its newest releases: the Canon Vixia HFS10 ($1,299.99 online). For the higher-end consumer, this model is promising a lot of improved and new features.

When a consumer walks up to the camcorder, they are drawn to the size of the lens barrel. It is very large. While the barrel makes the lens look enormous, the lens is, while still bigger M6091 battery than most models in this price range, fairly normal in size.

The pixel count is also quite impressive. At 8.5 megapixels, it makes the 3.3 megapixels of only a year ago seem tiny. Canon has also expanded the size of its CMOS sensor. It is now 1/2.6, which is much larger than the standard 1/3.2 on most camcorders. You can also take still pictures at 6 megapixels while filming or up to 8 megapixels when not filming.

LCD Screen and Features
The LCD screen is quite impressive BTP-43D1 battery at 2.7 inches and 211,000 pixel resolution. It comes with the standard four buttons on it: display on and off, battery release switch and the SD/SDHC card slot. But, there's also a new feature here: the Video Snapshot feature, which allows you to see highlights of your footage.

Canon has also introduced a few features with the release of the HFS10. They are the dial and Custom Button. These buttons allow you to control Exposure, Focus, Assist Function Mic Level and AGC Limiter. This should make a consumer's life much easier.

This model comes with a built-in microphone that sits near the top of the barrel while the two mini microphone jacks sit below this mic on either side of the lens barrel. You can add an external microphone specifically made for Canon here. The battery cavity has the ability to hold expanded battery packs as they become TravelMate 220 battery available.

Body Features
Canon has improved its design on this model. Oftentimes, Canon sacrifices design when trying to pile on as many features as possible. But, this model isn't too bad. The HFS10 comes with a nicely padded hand strap for long hours of recording. It's very thick and hugs the hand perfectly.

The only issue with the hand strap has to do with what's underneath it. Canon has placed the access to the component-out, USB and HDMI under the strap. The only good thing is that you won't need these while you're out in the field. You only need them when you go to download and BTP-58A1 battery edit your footage.

The only thing that was a really big disappointment was the zoom toggle button. Canon has been having issues with the zoom toggle for years, and here the problems persist. It feels inferior to most toggle buttons, but it was at least responsive to touch.

The Canon Vixia HFS10 is causing a lot of excitement. It's shaping up to be one of the best camcorders on the market, especially for consumers looking for BTP-60A1 battery more professional-looking videos.

Among the current crop of netbooks available in the market today, three brands currently laptop battery stand out - the Acer Aspire One D150, HP Mini 2140 and Eee PC 1000HE. Here's a brief comparison of these three netbooks to help you decide which netbook to buy.

Tale of the Netbook Specs
Looking into the technical specs of the Acer Aspire One D150, Asus Eee PC 1000HE and HP Mini 2140, we could immediately see the following common features:

10-inch display
1GB Ram
160GB HDD
1.3 webcam
Windows XP Home
6-cell battery
Intel Atom N270 for Acer Aspire One and HP Mini 2140 (Atom N280 for Eee PC 100HE)
Except for the Atom N280 CPU, all those specs are the standard among 10-inch netbooks today. The 160GB HDD is being supplemented by both HP and Eee PC with their respective cloud storage solution. Slightly different from the Acer and HP A1012 battery diagonal display is the Eee PC 1000HE LED-backlit WSVGA display. For some this is a big deal as it makes using the netbook outdoors a more pleasant experience.

When it comes to the CPU, the standard is of course Intel's Atom N270 processor which is present in both the Acer Aspire One and HP Min 2140. But Asus took it one step further by packing the 1000HE with the latest and slightly faster Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU.

Battery-wise, all three netbooks sport 6-cell battery pack which still gives some differences when it comes to usage life. But with the Eee PC 1000HE's Super Hybrid M8511 battery Engine, users can choose among several power settings mode which could extend the Eee PC 1000HE's battery life longer.

Major Differences among the Three Netbooks

Obviously the Eee PC 1000HE is way ahead of its competitors when it comes to its processor, display and battery life. The Eee PC 1000HE can max out up to 7.5 hours of regular computing use. While the HP Mini 2140 can only last up to around 4 hours and 15 M8244 battery minutes of regular computing while the Acer Aspire One can last up to around 6 hours and 15 minutes of regular computing.

Both the HP Mini 2140 and Acer Aspire One D150 have diagonal displays which can have up to 1024x576 native resolutions while the Eee PC 1000HE can have as wide as 1024x600, aside from its LED-Backlit display. Obviously, the Eee PC 1000HE tops the two netbooks in this department.

Of course, the major difference is with the netbooks' processors. As we all know the Eee PC 1000HE comes with the newest Intel Atom N280 CPU with 1.66GHz clock speed A1079 battery while both the HP Mini 2140 and Acer Aspire One D150 are loaded with the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU. Although the difference in performance and speed is very minimal, it would still matter when it comes to computing speed.

And the Best 10-inch Netbook Is
Actually choosing which among these three netbooks is the best depends on personal preferences. If you're looking for a netbook that is not too heavy on your budget, the Acer Aspire One would be your best choice. But if price is not an issue, and you want the classy-looking A1078 battery netbook, then the HP Mini 2140 would be your best choice. But if overall performance at a reasonable price would be your primary consideration in choosing your next netbook, then undoubtedly, you should get the Eee PC 1000HE. This was my primary consideration when I purchased my netbook recently, so I got the Eee PC 1000HE.

The Panasonic HDC-SD9 is a great HD camcorder with a sleek, compact design and a small price tag.

The Panasonic HDC-SD9
The HDC-SD9, from Panasonic, is an efficient HD camera Laptop Battery with a sleek, compact design and a great price tag. Coming in at around $499 USD, it has a few quirks, but its still got a lot to love.
Technical Speciications
Digital Zoom: 700x

Max Shutter Speed: 1/8000 sec

2.1 megapixels

Optical Zoom: 10x

The Good
The HDC-SD9 is a flash based camcorder, which A1012 battery makes it pretty light. One of the things I liked about the design was the placement of the buttons; they were on the side of the camera body, inside the LCD screen. I liked this a lot because a lot of camcorders I've used have had some of the main buttons that I use a lot (like the zoom button, for instance) on the side of the LCD screen. This gets very annoying, because you have to prop the camera on one hand and press the tiny buttons inside the screen with another, and not only does that make your hand hurt, it makes the footage shaky M7318 battery as well.

The placement of the SD card slot is also very convenient, placed right underneath the battery. The colors were saturated when I filmed outside, which I kind of liked, but the footage came out a bit sharp.

The Bad
One thing that really got on my nerves was the fact that if you wanted to download footage from the camcorder to your battery computer, you have to take out the battery. This is because the port for the power supply is behind the battery; you have to remove the PowerBook G3 battery to get at it. And, like may HD camcorders, the camcorder needs to be plugged in, not on battery power, to download video. And, to tell you the truth, I'm not the best with putting in and taking out batteries, and I like to avoid it whenever possible, so this feature really annoyed me.

Another thing I hated about the SD9 is that you have to open the little LCD window to take out the battery. If you close the LCD screen, the camera goes into standby mode. If you take the battery out while it's in standby mode, you're stuck that way. I had to do a lot of button-pressing and camera-banging to get it out of standby mode once it got PowerBook G4 battery stuck.

The software that comes with the SD9 has a few bugs in it, so make sure you do an internet search to see if those bugs have been worked out.

The Bottom Line
The SD9 is a great little camera with a cute little price tag. It has a lightweight, convenient design that's easy on the eyes. I'd recommend this camera for those with a little more patience; the bugs in this camera, although there aren't many, might make you want to throw it out the PowerBook G4 15inch battery window.

PC manufactures are finally learning how to crank out notebook Laptop Battery computers that stand out from the crowd, but some notebooks have been particularly stylish. Inside you'll find three notebooks that look - dare I say it - better than a Mac, but come with PC roots.

Sexy like a Mac
When it comes to stylish laptop computers, Apple had the market cornered for years. Manufactures of Window-based notebooks never made notebook computers that had the same simple, youthful styling that made Apple computers stand apart, and for the most part, they didn't really try. Of course, Apple used to a nearly irrelevant niche brand, with a market share that hovered around five percent. But times have changed. Apple is now widely considered as one of the best notebook manufacturers in the world, and the Apple's world-wide market share is looking to be around 10%. Macs probably won't overtake Compaq Laptop Battery Windows-based PCs any time soon, but that doesn't make Apple's computers look any less sexy. In fact, the exclusivity is probably boon to the Apple image.

In response, makers of PC laptops have begun to change battery their tune. What once was a sea of silver, gray, and black now has hints of color. In fact, some of the most stylish new laptops look absolutely stunning, giving Apple some stiff competition when it comes to styling. And just what laptops might I be referring to?

Acer Aspire One
Two years ago, netbooks didn't exist. Now, tech websites are constantly talking about them, posting reviews of new models and comparing size and battery life. These small, light, cheap, efficient products represent a segment of the market that is completely Presario 1700 battery new, and make it possible for almost anyone to own a laptop capable of basic tasks. They have also revolutionized PC laptop styling by introducing friendly, bright color schemes and wonderfully simple silhouettes, and the Acer Aspire One is no exception.

What sets the Acer Aspire One apart from many other laptops and netbooks is contrast. Its base black-on-white color scheme is glossy yet simple, and accents all of the right areas. The white exterior dominates the netbook when shut, ensuring that the thin, black USB and ethernet jacks grab the eye, giving the exterior a pleasant mixture of business and fun. Open the Aspire One, and things get better, as the 9" LCD is perfectly framed by glossy black, which contrasts well with the white keyboard and chassis. This distinction between screen and chassis gives the netbook the appearance of having a serious, high-quality Armada E500 battery screen attached to a friendly, ergonomic base.

Of course, those who want something more unique can pick one up in blue, brown, or pink. However, the blue an brown models seem to upset the striking, high-contrast visuals, making the product look less, well, inspiring.
Asus Lamborghini VX3
At first glance, its hard not to laugh at the Asus Lamborghini VX3. Geeks have been comparing PCs to fast cars for decades, and those comparisons have often felt awkwardly macho. That might lead you to think that the VX3 is simply a cash-in, built to appeal to people who want a A1175 battery little bit of Lamborghini in their life, but can only afford a Toyota Camry. In fact, you'd be very wrong.

Like the cars, the VX3 has no low end. Prices start around three grand and go up from there. For that you get a 12.1" LCD, 4GB of memory, and a Core 2 Duo processor. That isn't to shabby, but it is really the exterior details that justify the VX3's astronomical cost. The exterior is coated in a classic Lamborghini yellow which is sure to turn heads the moment you slide it out of the included messenger-style bag, and if that wasn't enough to grab attention, the authentic Lamborghini logo will be.

And that's not all. Open the case, and you'll find the interior lined with genuine leather, complete with stitching which has to do with keeping the leather attached to the chassis, but looks stunning. The titanium-alloy case, finished in a glossy dark gray, looks and feels strong. The VX3 also comes with a custom Bluetooth mouse which matches the color scheme, a custom sleeve, and the A1185 battery already-mentioned messenger bag. It is undoubtedly a luxury product, and like any good supercar, the VX3 will turn heads wherever it goes.

Price: $3,299.99 at Buy.com as of 12/07/08

Voodoo Envy 133
Want to be the Envy of every Apple user fondling his new Macbook Air? Look no further than the Envy 133, made by Voodoo. Once known for it's gaming computers, Voodoo was recently bought by HP, which as changed the company into a maker of premium quality computers. The Envy was built to be HP's rival to the Macbook Air, and it shows. Like the Air, it has a 13.3" screen, and like the Air, it is well under an inch thick. In terms of functionality, the Envy is a home-run. It's chassis is built out of carbon fire, resulting in high stiffness despite the thin profile. This allows the Envy to equip a removable battery. The Envy also has more usable USB ports and a power cord which attaches at a much better M9324 battery angle.

But functionality isn't what the Envy is really all about. This is a computer built from the ground up to be sexy. It's ultra-glossy finish gives the illusion that the Envy is made out of aluminum rather than carbon-fiber, and while the Air appears smooth and tame, the Envy appears rough-edged and wild. The logo on the lid says it all - where an Air would have the ever-friendly apple logo, the Envy features Voodoo's menacing tribal mask.

On a basic level, Envy has looks a-plenty, but if you really want to set yourself apart from everyone else hopping on the thin-and-light bandwagon, the Envy has a party piece you just might be interested in: custom colors. Besides the base Black Weave, fourteen other colors are available. My favorites are Moroccan Blue and Sunset. Being unique does carry the hefty M8403 battery price-tag of $500 to $600 dollars, but if you've got money to burn and want to get noticed, its a worthwhile upgrade.
